They immediately drug test/background check the dead black kid, but not the guy who shot him.
seriously amazing. smh
I wonder how this would've played out if it was a black man on the neighborhood watch shooting a white kid.

That actually would not surprise me since, you know, the only person able to counter this version of events was lying nearby in a pool of blood, dead.

If this goes to trial it will be interesting, Zimmerman has called 911 over 40 times with no violence. People need to wait for the investigation to run its course, the people calling for an immediate arrest are acting the vigilante as much as Zimmerman.

Uh you started following some poor black kid even though the 911 dispatcher was telling you not to and then the kid ends up dead because you shot him after getting into a fight with him, I don't think it's unusual you would end up arrested. In fact I think it's extremely unusual you WOULDN'T be arrested.
So your analogy seems very false.

Actually the people are pissed because Sanford PD DID NOT DO ANY INVESTIGATING. It's pretty obvious from the 911 calls and other evidence that's come out that Zimmerman was the aggressor.

Yeah, it really seems like they showed up, saw the dead black kid, heard Zimmerman tell them "it was self defense!" and then were like "oh, ok, well that explains it, have a good night sir" and left.
After drug testing the dead kid but not the guy who killed him.  |

There has been no proof of a murder and chances are there won't be, the only real hope in this case is that they can poke holes in his story, that or jury nullification. Without an eyewitness this will be very tough, he could have been the aggressor all the way through and even called him a coon to his face and he would still be entitled to defend himself. Just becaause something is morally wrong doesn't make it illegal and just because something is legal doesn't always make it right.

It's clearly murder. The only question is if he can maybe, maybe reduce it to manslaughter through an imperfect self defense claim.
