I didn't say he was right nor did I say he was innocent, I said they aren't going to be able to get a conviction. If he really thought Martin was doing something wrong and he was being a responsible neighborhood watch member he would have never got out of his car.

Beyond Zimmerman's actions, the police questioned him briefly and let him go...with his gun. The dead kid laid unidentified in the morgue for three days because the police couldn't be bothered to check his phone to see who he was. They didn't pay any attention to him at all, except to check his blood for drugs...which they didn't do with Zimmerman. He might have been buried as a John Doe if his family hadn't filed a missing person report.

Zimmerman had a laceration on the back of his head with blood flowing. He had a bloodied nose and grass stained pants. As the law stands now if you feel your life is being threatened you have the right to shoot to kill. The police report states that Zimmerman was attacked from behind according to eye witnesses.
The black community is saying the police report was changed or doctored.....
This whole case is nothing but a mess. Im just glad zimmerman is hispanic and not white otherwise it would be 10 times worse.

what is the law in florida if you start a fight... then the other guy fears for his life and so he might kill you in self defense.. in which case you now have cause to kill him in self defense.
