Florida has a "stand your ground" law, but I don't think it applies when you follow some kid with a bag of skittles.

The Stand Your Ground law allows you to meet force with force and/or defend yourself if you feel threatened.
When I lived in Florida and had my CCW permit the teacher in the class told us if we got in an fight with someone even if we started and that person pulls a gun or knife or other deadly weapon and we shoot them down it will fall under the SYG law. Even though we were the aggressor.

You can be aggressive without getting physical, just because someone is the aggressor doesn't always make it legal to strike a blow. If that happened self defense could come into play.

The statute doesn't mention anything about being the aggressor but in the end it's up to the courts to decide if you were justified or not.

A dead, unarmed kid he admits to having just shot, who he admittedly was chasing after?
If the victim had been a 16 year old white girl not a single one of you would have any qualms about charging him.

I'm sure both parties are POS's. I'm having a hard time taking any of this crap seriously when they don't flip out every time someone is murdered. Why is little Tyshon(??) specialer than the rest of the hood who shoots each other? But I guess the cops are the bad guys cause they're white and known for looking out after hispanics when the shoot other brown people dead.
I just wish it was a white guy who had shot the kids, than the rhetoric would be off the wall entertaining.
