This is awesome! OMG I would LOVE to have my warlock sporting another seasons gear! I can't remember which one atm... but the one with the random wings that come out of the helmet!

I always liked how it was in Aion where you destroyed the item and it transferred the look to the new item.

Now I wonder what the next step will be... housing in the Mists of Pandaria, maybe?

Oh, and a little quote from a blue on the European thread about this feature:

@Devlin: At this time, we don't plan to allow legendary items to be transmogrified. Legendaries should always be identifiable on sight.

So thanks god, we don't have armies of TF wielding kiddies in SW/OG!

Too little, too late.

For me, I think the ship has sailed. My problems are not with fluff anyways, but Dev design, attitude and The Vision.

But I DO HAVE TO ADMIT, this is an incredibly smart move on blizzard's part as I have always thought that this one aspect was always literally the single most important thing blizzard could do to turn their losses around and get players back.

It's a cool feature but hardly something people base whether they play a game or not over and certainly not why people are getting tired of WoW.

Lack of new content at a decent pace is way more of a big deal.

Cata just being a bad expansion that no patching can correct is more of a big deal.

Dwarf warrior in Dreadnaught Battlegear..oh how I have missed you!!

I wonder if they are only doing sets or if its going to be mix and matchable. I have a worry that they will go the easy route and limit it to sets.

Nice feature..should have been here years ago.....

And..oh yeah Deathwing..I forgot about him.....hahaha.

I want to recreate the hooker look casters had with early BC greens, to hell with the sets

I've been fiddling with the game for a few weeks, but this one change definitely will bring me back to play a lot more. My priest's look for Cata disgusted me, I couldn't even play em. Now being able to customize his looks has me all excited. I always loved this feature in LOTRO.

Once my priest looks exactly as I want him, I'll go to another character. Ultimately, it's a GREAT reason to do the old content, which I've always loved. I have a few friends who are also excited about it and are coming back. Maybe we can still squeeze some fun out of this game.

And for all the time, energy, and money I've invested into it, I think that's a really good thing.

This.......... Had Blizzard been more willing to listen. A lot of people might still be playing. I remember a post about a mile long on the early Warcraft boards where people were asking about gear customization. Lots of folks were miffed that sometimes you "had" to settle for a piece of gear that looked horrible but you had to wear it because of the stats needed. I know there will be a lot of happy WoWer's.....good move on their part. I guess its better late, than never.
