Patch 4.3 - Deathwing, Transmogrifier, Void Storage
Tom Chilton (Kalgan) answered a couple of questions from Gamona.de on Patch 4.3, and we got a bunch of very interesting news out of it. Patch 4.3 will feature:

- New Raid - The Deathwing raid, making it very likely to be the last patch before the next expansion.

- 3 new 5-man instances - Including one in the Caverns of Time. (War of the Ancients was mentioned as a cataclysm instance a few years ago, but a lot of things have changed since then, who knows!)

- The Transmogrifier NPC, which will let you change the appearance of any armor piece on you, while retaining the stats of your current gear. (= T12 stats, but with the Tier 2 look!)

- Players won't be able to change the appearance of their armor into another armor type or class armor set, and you might have to own the armor before you can use it to swap the appearance of your existing armor.

- The Void Storage is a new type of bank where players will be able to store their old armors in order to free up space in their regular bank.

- The Abyssal Maw dungeon is gone for the moment, the storyline wasn't convincing enough/fitting.

Dwarf warrior in Dreadnaught Battlegear..oh how I have missed you!!

I wonder if they are only doing sets or if its going to be mix and matchable. I have a worry that they will go the easy route and limit it to sets.

Nice feature..should have been here years ago.....

And..oh yeah Deathwing..I forgot about him.....hahaha.

Good job on catching up to Aion and Rift on the transmogrifier . Glad to see they are adding it finally. You can bet people will be farming old armor sets.

More dungeons finally.
At launch of TBC - 15; WOTLK - 12; Cata - 7 (+2 semi-new H SFK/Deadmines)

This should be incentive for people to not only do dungeons but go out into the world and farm gear sets. Believe it or not, there are non-dungeon/raid armor sets from random loot drops.

I still have a set of Twill armor on a mule, gonna bring sexy back.

LMAO!!!!!!! After years of blizzard telling players they would not do this, and years of 1000+ post threads/petitions by players, and blizzard still saying they would not do this:

Flash forward to a one million subscription loss and all of the sudden blizzard finally wants to do this!

But I DO HAVE TO ADMIT, this is an incredibly smart move on blizzard's part as I have always thought that this one aspect was always literally the single most important thing blizzard could do to turn their losses around and get players back.

Good thing I kept all that cool azz looking gear on on my toons, I may start playing again

Very good find Korrigan. This is news I think we've all been waiting for.

So glad I did not delete any of my DK armor sets or the awesome looking priest tier 9 (horde side, alliance's was fugly )
