The reality is tax payers need to do that to get the pro sports teams.
Stand on your principles and be without a professional sports team like the Sonics

Who cares. Most sports players are cry babies. Will act out if they dont get the extra 5 million dollars in their contracts. Over paid idiots playing a sport that means nothing at all. Get rid of all of it imo. Its worthless.

If the taxpayers are going to subsidize professional sports franchises, then why not own them? Why should we be making someone wealthy wealthier. Green Bay is our case model for excellence. Why not more Green Bay Packers?

Why is America so much worse at sports management than Europe?
