There are always politics involved. I can point to a handful of politicians on the Colliseum commission who have pooh poohed stadiums in Los Angeles needed to lure an NFL team. They are getting greased.

billionaires dont need handouts. Thats the reality.
If they stopped recieving hand outs, then they would build their own stadiums.
But they know eventually somewhere some dumb schmuck will give them hundreds of millions of dollars, they could have afforded themselves.
