I was in Denver in the late 90s when they were 'debating' whether or not a 1/2 cent sales tax should be levied in order to build the Broncos a new stadium (as if it was ever in doubt).
I remember one of the local radio honks saying, "Are you really gonna FEEL 1/2 a penny?"

I wonder where all the people went who said the Sonics would fail in Oklahoma City? They seem to be doing well as the Thunder.
