If china didnt drop out of a war then theyd be cray at that point.
Theyd have to drop nukes all over the US to hit us that hard.
If you dropped 3 nukes on China's 3 biggest cities they'd lose ~30 million people. I don't know if you're dumb or just trolling on the half a billion thing, but China could easily drop 2 nukes on each of America's major cities and kill 50 million, and then focus on destroying your infrastructure so you collapse on yourself.
maybe if the nukes weren't made in China

So china would have to drop 25 to a 100 nukes to kill 50 mil people? Wed blow most of those up in the sky.
We could easily destroy the lives of 800 million people in a few seonds using our submarines that are hanging out by china this minute.

you think America's missile defense system actually works? China could easily churn out 10,000s of missiles and launch all of them. You'd have to get lucky and find the ones with the warheads.

And China could easily wipe America off the face of the earth. There'd still be a few million Chinese people left, and tens of millions outside of China. Not to mention that a nuclear attack on Southwest China is a nuclear attack on India and Southeast Asia, as 70-80% of the water they drink and use for agriculture originates from there. That, and any airborne contamination will make its way to South Korea and Japan within a few weeks if not days through the atmosphere, and actually deposit in California if they're light enough.

It would be hopeless. The chinese would lose.
We firebombed the hell out of japan and then we nuked them. It was hopeless for japan.
We have a lot more firepower this time. No chance for china in a war.
Nobody but the americans even have the balls to use a nuclear bomb. Its hopeless.
