Able to /stay pet while shade runs inside keep/tower and provides intel & ground targets for buddies outside without fear of being nuked, stopped, killed, etc
High ABS...never mind their armor procs...their ABS is ridiculously high.

Gone are the days of 50 servant necro's PVEing mobs.



25% Pierce... and they still have lower DPS than most list casters... sounds like Necros need some love

Immune to CC pet... ok that is a Necro toy

Able to give intel... thats reaching... but ok a toy

High ABS... requires a 2nd toon + can have 100% of the ABS stripped by other classes...


Wanna discuss... pathing, pathing, being lvl45 vs 50, Convoker without being able to ML9, pathing, /use not available for most of the sought after items,

having to swing unstyled to fight, having no offensive abilities without having a pet up, unable to see what debuffs/negative effects are on you, how our ABS

can be debuffed by the majority of classes in game, pathing, how Necros dont gain benefit to newer and better items as they dont benefit from the dual procs

or elemental damage, Necros main source of damage also has the highest resist rate of spells ingame, only class with no passive damage reduction RA...

I could probably add in more negative sides to the Necro, but that is enough to show they arent flawless

I said all their toys not their bugs. And it's a known fact necro's are hitting AS hard if not harder than most casters in the game. Don't try to turn a blind eye to facts. I'm all for fixing their bugs, as long as you nerf the 25% SP, nerf their ABS, and nerf the tethor range on them to prevent the shade exploit BS inside lord rooms providing GTAOE targets. Further more, nerf their CC immune ability. No one should have a free passive ability to be CC immune all the time. Not Albs, Not mids, Not hibs.

He might be clueless, but it is 90% of the lame crap about the class. It's kind of retarded that I can perf a necro pet for less damage than I would get with an unstyled attack on a main tank.

Personally, I'd rather see a new option available: You can't move the shade, but the pet becomes player controlled.

they should just make the player the pet upon 'summoning'. This fixes all pet pathing etc, allows for all /uses. obviously a few tweaks to spells would be in order, but they could salvage the class. They'd have to nerf a lot if they did this though. Current Necro's would probably be pissed.

Honestly the cap is 10%. It should be 10% for all. Its a bug it needs to be fixed or given to all.

"Possess Corpse" - Shade combines with pet to form player controlled undead creature, with mainly melee attributes.


"Depart Corpse" - Shade seperates from pet, once again allowing necromancer to cast spells through the pet.

Actually the 10% cap applies to players. Pets are still limited by the original cap which was 25%, with the exception of animist bombers, from a recent patch. It's not a bug, it's a design fault.
