No Guilds, Few Friendly Players.. Horrible Atmosphere |
Can't speak for Albs and Hibs, which maybe a lot of the same players, and haven't played much in NF (cause I can't get a group), but the bg Mid community (thid, molv, CV) is about 75% "Horrible Atmosphere" and really a buncha idiots. 25% really nice to run with and have fun.
Was gonna fill time with this 'til gw2, but don't know if I'll last that long, myself.

I will however say that from my observations, Mids and Albs mostly have problems with groups. Hibs don't, they are always, ALWAYS grouped. You won't find visible solo Hibs, and outside of BGs I have never seen solo NS cockroaches either.

The community is what keeps me from staying here resubbed more than a month. If I could find a nice casual guild I'd resub today.

Guaranteed GW2 will have a community full of ppl looking to exploit/cheat/play the fotm class/comp so they can get faster rewards and dominate other players. It's a PvP game, and PvP brings out the worst in people.
Most games start with these pond scum in the minority. It takes a while for these parasites to wreck communities. Hopefully arena net will clamp down on cheaters as well as they did in GW1.
They start in the minority but end up the majority because they are the primary kind of person that truly enjoys PvP. Everyone else just dabbles in PvP until they reach their maximum level of tolerance before quitting.

Which can completely kill a game. Probaby the reason there's only 3 or 4 people in Mordred during prime.
