Double standards ftw - the other day you told a (temped) guildie of mine that he couldnt join your group as he obviously wasn't in a temp as you thought you saw the BG cloak. Now he is in fact temped and the cloak is the nosdoden cloak - not only that but he is an incredibly good player with loads of 8 man experience who could probably carry your flop on inc pug.

What's interesting is that, despite daoc's age and the people playing it, despite it being considered the best 'pvp game' the pvp'ers in this game are still really really terrible.

OP has a point. This attitude of not helping or teaching new players is what killed the 8v8.

Hopefully, GW2 will have a better community, at least for a while. Daoc's died years ago.

Guaranteed GW2 will have a community full of ppl looking to exploit/cheat/play the fotm class/comp so they can get faster rewards and dominate other players. It's a PvP game, and PvP brings out the worst in people.

It's true, I even tried to show him the cloak in trade but he ignored it and ran away with his PUG of Einherjars Vengeance guildies. This after I patiently tried to explain that I was, indeed, templated and had all kinds of visible artifacts and shapeshifts.
