Nor would the Customer Relations person for Turbine, who stated that he contacted the legal department, that Decal and TPAs are allowed.


Bottome line, this guys beef is with Turbine and their policy of allowing TPAs, yet he lacks the stones to contact Turbine and the pull to get it changed. It is just eP33n waving by someone who has EED (Electronic Erectile Dysfunction).

Face it Imperil, there would be NO Asheron's Call for you to play if not for Decal. A sizable portion of the player-base would leave outright, as characters they've built over YEARS of playing would essentially be useless, buffers without the ability to buff when not attended, and characters that can't buff themselves because they've been raised on the premise a buffer would always be available.


I for one would NOT re-roll my high level characters (some 130+), if I did not have a reasonable expectation of getting a buffer for them soon. I sooner quit, and find another game to play. That is the attitude of my entire monarchy, which by ourselves control 30+ accounts. Times that by several other monarchies already expressing the same opinion, and no Decal (or a reasonable facisimle thereof) would be Asheron's death knell...

If you take away Decal right now.. yes I fully agree with you the game is finished as everybody relies on it. Although Decal (sorry not Decal, but certain Decal plugins) is what drove over 100,000 subscriptions away, and also made it near impossible to attract new players due to AC's 'cheaters' reputation.


So it really depends what you meant.. but I really hope you don't believe that Decal somehow 'saved' the game, as you can quite easily see by numbers that certain 'plugins' that use Decal (and not Decal itself) destroyed the playerbase of the game and made it what it is today... and right now Decal IS a needed part of the game.

- Oh I realize that.. because the levels would never have been inflated that high without a lot of the cheats and content would have still been created for the normal levels.

Imperil lives in a bubble universe. Nothing from the outside can penetrate it (especially the opinions of others). Anything he doesn't agree with doesn't exist. His opinion is the only correct one.


I'm guessing Imperil is an only child, and doesn't play well with others.


My advice? Let Imperil live in his own little delusional world. He's not actually hurting anyone. So, just ignore him. Better yet, let's all ignore him together.

I used to play baseball with MK down the street at the park last year... but he started cheating too much so I stopped playing well with him. He doesn't really like me anymore. Both of us are young children that live in bubbles because of our rare skin disease.
