ELGar is a whiner, just lock this thread and ban him from the vault, he doesn't want anything to do with AC anyways right? I'm tired of hearing about him and his plugin.

What sucks is I didn't use El tank for ucm, nor did anyone I know, I found it to be extremely useful for everything else, navigation, corpse tracking and buffing. Pretty damn lame to kill it imo. Sounds like someone had a tantrum.

Some pussnut releases a hacked DLL now those of us who didn't use it are punished.

Funny thing is, it won't stop the people who hacked it. Wouldn't surprise me if they already have it running again.


Hey El, you might want to killbit the DL from your site too. Personally it would have been the first thing I would have done if it were my program and I didn't want it used. Ok , maybe 2nd after kiling the auth server.

Clearly, perhaps not, but to a degree that someone with an intelligence approaching normal could understand then yes. You might have to search some online law libraries though.

I would hope that if an evil plugin surfaces that it's killbit is set to On quickly but overall I agree that 'normally' it should only be used at the authors request.

As many of the various Decal Devs and plug-in writers have pointed out - NONE of this mess is their fault.


And try as he might to place the blame on Turbine, the person AT fault is incorrect - it's not their fault either.


100% Responsibility for this FIASCO lays directly at the feet of the owner of the plug-in and nowhere else.


Now, to actually answer the question: "Now that EL Tank has been kilbitted..."


I am going to ask as politley as possible and as frequently as I can without pissing off the writers and controllers of Lifetank - PLEASE add Re-Stam and Healing controls beyond a set default for Melees and Archers! Ltx for the WIN!
