I have 300-400 rounds of 5.56 in storage now, if you add up all my ammo I have over a 1000 rds, that is minus the bricks of .22 ammo I have.
it doesnt even have to be a ar rifle,just any rifle capable of accepting a large magazine.
I find it odd that not one of them has a assault rifle,considering Rick raided the cop shop armory and not one of them thought to pick up a m-16 off a dead solider.
yes a 5.56 is loud as hell but no louder than that bolt action 30 aught 6/.270 hunting rifle dale kept using.
this is where they could've have loaded up on guns and ammo, and replaced the vehicles with at least some humvee's and maybe a ma deuce truck.
hell they could've commandeered a abrams.
You know what? I don't see ANY guns in that picture beyond the ones they are carrying. Not a one.

there's a .50 cal machine gun on a mount there...I think that's from the scene when they were running out just before the place blew up or maybe right when they pulled up to the place. All I know, is that when I was watching that episode where they were getting out of the CDC before it blew up, they ran past like 5 mounted machine guns with ammo boxes sitting right next to them/hanging from the guns.
and whoever was talking about Rick raiding the police station...I thought he had to leave those guns behind when he hid in the tank and Glen radioed him to help him get out?
I'm wondering what's going to happen to Daryl and Glen now...they killed the Randall guy, but they never showed them get back to the house. And the last scene was like 100 walkers coming up on rick and carl, and all they have is Carl's pistol unless Rick hurries and gets his (and Shane's) from the ground.
I think Carl was pointing the gun at his Dad because he just saw his Dad kill Shane...who was basically acting as his father figure and taking care of him/his mom for a long time. He doesn't know about Shane/Laurie doin the dirty, so i don't think he knows how at odds the 2 were against each other.

Exactly, the CDC exploded and collapsed. A giant cement and whatever building fell on all that crap. I'd never be running away from an explosion, look over and see a giant heavy gun and go "oooh, brb lemme pick that up"
Also, they went back and got the guns later when they went to go see if meryl was still alive. There was a whole episode about it basically.

plus that scientist had a m-4 inside the compound.
and he was going to die anyways, I think he would have gave it up.
and seeing that it was one of the last hold outs, it probably had a armory somewhere in that place.

Daryl and Glen: They'll probably show up in time to save the day, but before some of the other farm inhabitants get killed. I think a few will die and then maybe some will decide to stay and the others will join the core group for season 3.
Carl: For the sake of the having less frustration surrounding the kids on this show, I hope they don't dwell on that. I don't want to see any more conflict with this kid. He's going to grow up way faster than the show progresses so I think we'll see him die early next season.

I'm pretty sure I heard a knife type of sound when Shane went to kill that kid behind the tree. Those are also the knives they use to kill walkers. Would explain both of them turning.
