guess they are eliminating the cast rather quickly.
no season 3
and why is nobody carrying one of these?
especially after visiting the cdc in atl there was m-4/16s laying around every where with loads of magazines and ammo.

"AMC renewed The Walking Dead for a third season on October 25, 2011 after the season two premiere broke cable ratings records in the 18–49 demographic. On February 24, 2012, it was announced that David Morrissey had been cast as The Governor, a major antagonist in the comic series. Morrissey will be a main cast member in the third season, which begins production in the first quarter of 2012."

Looks like they'll be trading Herschel's farm and maybe Herschel himself for a season 3 centered on the governor antagonist. Another essentially one location season. With the amount of seemingly low budget scenes, why don't they just make this show a daily soap opera already.

The story needs to be told. Some stories have a flow....if you mess with that because you need to add more gore, you can ruin a good script. I think they are doing a good balancing act between story and action. As for budget, I think they are spending it when it counts most.
Question: Part One: Would a bigger budget really make this show better than it is? Part 2: Do you watch it for the character interaction or the zombie killing? Part 3: If they got a bigger budget, how would you like them to spend it?

completely agree! just dont understand why they dont have better weapons...and a better more secure location. drives me nuts, i find myself pausing the damn show and yelling at my step-son on how i would do crap differently...like the kid that shot at Rick, i would have done a Otis on him and saved Shane that way.
and i love the fact that some cut scenes show 50cals. just sitting there...i would raid everyone i saw and create a beach of Normandy type compound.
