Not only do I notice the obvious similarities, I think this xpac's effect on blizzard will be the same as TOA was on Mythic 
WoW is doomed I tells ya.
And for the OP, who can forget flying outside of Stormwind in ToA, and starting a new Worgen, or leveling to 85. I know I can't.

Maybe not after a couple of hot fix patches. I'm still confused how the xpac got released with quests that couldn't be completed due to quest items not being in the game. Did anyone actually do any testing in the beta? It doesn't appear so.

A ton huh  ? I'm not sure soloable means what you think it means then, but between ToA and Cataclysm soloable content, there's no contest imo. I had trouble finding anything worthwhile that I could solo myself in ToA. And by soloable, I don't mean a necro with a cleric bot.
I remember enough to know I really despised that expansion and I'm sure that this expansion is nothing like the 'experience' ToA was.

Yes, who can forget the underwater zones, the lava zones, the "green" zones, and the desert zones..
But hey, TOA didn't have Werewolves, so Cata must be nothing like TOA *grin*
