But who cares hacked is hacked although I don't think having your information given out would be considered to be hacked it would be more of a compromised situation.

I really don't care about my stuff. I already cancelled, due to end this friday. My computer is not particularly secure, but I am secure and know how to navigate the internet without getting infected. The first virus scan in 6 months turned up 0 problems. And I still won't buy an authenticator. I've always felt that they were for people who were incapable of protecting their account on their own.
If there is something on my computer that compromised me, it's buried pretty deep and got there somehow without myself or my system knowing. It seems unlikely to me that some sort of keylogger for WoW would be that resiliant, but I'll always entertain the possibility. I could see a keylogger in general to get all my passwords, but it's only my WoW account that was compromised.

Don't be stupid. Small video files that don't access my computer files in any way (because, you know, Windows 7 notifies you when this happens) have a pretty hard time containing and installing WoW keyloggers.

You say that your PC is not particularly secure. Then you say you wont buy an authenticator because its for people who dont know how to keep their account secure. You just said your PC isnt particularly secure!! ..AND you got hacked!. 
Then you say that if you have a security compromise, it got there without you or your system knowing it. .. WTH! Of course it did!!!.. thats how they get there!!! What do you think they do.. have a popup screen asking you if you would like to install this keylogger!!?? They get there without you knowing it.. its what they DO!! its ALL THEY DO! (terminator) 
Anyhow.. I am glad you dont care.. everyone wins.. the hacker, you and Blizz because they dont have to restore your account if you dont care.
PS.. The account stealer doesnt want your bank/credit card info.. there is a huge leap from taking virtual gold from a video game to international bank fraud. Its hard to understand why most people dont understand this concept. (" If my PC was compromised, why didnt they clean out my 401k too!?"  )

If you would like to believe that I'm trolling you, or that it's my fault, go right ahead man. I've played your role in this type of thread many times, so I understand. Believe whatever you need to in order to get through your day.
You may not believe that it is possible for people to be online and be intelligent about the most common potential threats, but it is. I'm not saying there is 100% absolutely no chance there is something on my computer, but it's pretty unlikely. Outside of idle speculation, I don't believe that there is any evidence of a simple WoW keylogger being resilient enough to avoid multiple virus scanners. Maybe you know different.
You obviously know more about this stuff than I do, so perhaps you could suggest the ways that my account could have been compromised. Maybe I missed something (which is kind of why I posted this thread).
