Considering how much clerics rule, I think that they'll be less of a "LFHEALER OMG!" and it'll be the tanks that are rare

disagree. If beta is anything of a precursor clerics are still going to be in high demand. Anytime a warfront/invasion is going on we never have enough heals.

Classes with ranged attacks have a serious advantage in this game.
However I did like the Champion class, never got over that Warrior charge in WOW and they have a similar mechanic. Still the damage one takes as melee pales to what ranged attackers deal with.

I see tons of Clerics, the issue is in this game Cleric doesn't automatically mean heals.
They can be dps, tanks or heals. Wacky Wacky!

I love main healing with my cleric so far, tons of fun.
Curious. I havent touched archer types. Are there any souls that are pretty much like a scout/ranger type from DAoC? No pet but a nice stealther/high damage archer soul?

With the way the invasions work, I havent even taken time to find the pvp even though im on a pvp server right now. I spent 4 levels today just fighting invasions as the hubs were getting over run.. didnt do a lick of questing or intentional grinding. When I was done myself, I looked at my lvl and went 'wtf?!' then checked my public group loot and had over 500 planarite (sp?) and other rares and artifacts.. was pretty damned nuts.
