Which B team has done a pretty damn good job of since cata.WoW will be just fine though there are alot of first time mmog players in WoW who are too scared to step out and play anything else different.
I am enjoying rift so far not playing it hard core hour or two here and there one things for sure though when I do have free time my thought anymore isn't I got a hour to kill I can do a few dailies in WoW instead it's lemme log into Eift maybe do a few or run a couple quests.I think if Rift keeps content coming they can very easily retain there player base no reason they cannot.
Van WoW wasn't like there was tons to do either if you weren't in a big guild you sure didn't pug mc.You pretty much grinded rep and ran the 5 mans you can do the same thing in Rift.

Nope, WoW hasn't met its match. Rift is just benefiting from the disappointment that is Cataclysm.

I'm liking Rift right now, but I don't think I'll be playing this for 6 years like WoW.
I feel like I am just killing time waiting for SWTOR, or even closer, DA2. 
I may not even play Rift that much after Tuesday.
