Can anyone elaborate on the economy like ways to level faster with bots etc? And income gathering, sales etc?

Meddyck they jacked quest XP WAY up on the Korean Test server. Unfortunately that means it has to go K-Test -> K-Live -> US Test -> US Live. Or something like that. So it could be a bit heh.
Lexi I dunno how much multiboxing will help you. I've seen people botting (as in, totally afk letting a memory reader / macro program run your character for you) running two players but that seems to be the max people do that kind of stuff with.
25+ seems to be mostly a group grinding game rather than solo questing. Group dynamics are: pull, mez 1-2, assist the mobs down 1-by-1. There is very limited AE in the game, no caster AE/PBAE like DAoC/WAR/WoW so something like 4 sorcs + healer would get raped in pve versus elites. So unless you can effectively bot and play the holy trinity of caster/tank/healer (which would be very difficult at the speed you hit keys in Aion) I don't see how you could bot anything harder than normal mobs, which would be slow and shitty xp with 3+ people in a party.
On the plus side getting characters to 50 is so ridiculously hard in this game I can see them selling on EBay for quite a bit of money.

Testing like that makes me irate because people need to realise that US people have a different time frame on games that Koreans do. My asian pals that handle the other half of our PL team are on way more then I am, I go to bed, they are up spamming my QQ.exe, I wake up.. boom there they are still taking shifts so they can handle WoW and DAOC on a complete 24 hour cycle. Americans just do not play at the same pace as asians. Asians have no souls remember?
Yeah I hear ya chooch... I might in December park DAOC for a month or two, get Aion, and just level and sell a few chars. That's what I did in Warhammer and they sold like hot cakes. Capped a few chars in level, and placed em to sell. I do the same in WoW..
In comparrison... any thoughts on WoW time to 80 versus Aion to 50?
In DAOC I've gotten to the point where I can nail a char to 50 in about 4 hours if I focus. But whoopty doo... DAOC level 50 add ons I just do for like $10 and that's mere pennies compared to WoW and I imagine Aion. It seems this game is a pure solo leveling game, meet friends, level to cap.. and bye bye sell kinda thing.
Kinda like FF Online.
Ironically.. I find myself making more money in WoW just pvp'ing peoples accounts up with battleground badges heh.

its look like it takes about 30 days to go from 1-50 using a powerleveling service. I started 8 days ago and I'm level 24. It is definitely slowing down now, but 25 is when all the rvr happens so it isnt that bad. As for botting i see it all over the place, some of it is noticeable but i don't think anything is done about it.
BTW average powerleveling prices
1-30 $90
30-40 $130
40-50 $400
1-50 $620
Hypothetically and I'm not 100% sure on this since i don't know how xp is affected with low people in group, but the best powerleveling combo would be 1 sorc, 1 sm, and lowbies. I have seen in a few videos solo SM's grinding out high level elites due to their awesome cc abilities. Extra sorc would be for more damage, as along as he can keep from pulling aggro. And SM's get a summon groupmate ability i hear.

Thanks Arc, I may try a round of this game to see how fast I can level and sell some chars each time I max it out. If so, I'll def hit some of you up for a /gu invite. I'll just level a char - sell it, and rinse and repeat.
I'm making a KILLING in WOW atm and people still buy daoc chars fast.

I'm curious what you mean by a 'killing'. How does the $/hour play out? 5 bucks an hour? 10?

I want you to know I'm not really the tough badass
IRL that I was in game. I only kill people when I'm
on my prancing, flute-puffing minstrel.

This week in WoW I had a good week, about $845 I think. It took me perhaps a 3 weeks to level the accounts, chars, and farm the gold. So it's hard to say really based on hour etc... since I play and level my personal stuff at the same time. So I just say it's like having an extra paycheck by playing a game for me in normal time.
As for DAOC... well it's hard to judge that because I had a lot of left over accounts I no longer needed and plat saved up. So lets say it takes me about 5 hours on leisure to level a char to 50... and I make in that 5 hour time with salvaging and farming products about 100 plat... I sell the DAOC chars for avg.. $15 and 100 plat I let go often for $30 so thats $45 in 5 hours... but in that time I also get offers to buy bulk plat, or sell entire accounts that I let leech at the same time.. so hard to judge that in the game of DAOC based on my personal leisure I make.
Thats why I think of it like an extra pay check cuz I don't consider it work or per hour invested. It's rewarding cuz of my personal accounts too.. example.. in WOW... more gold / more items etc I can buy... I also bg people badges for money, or level their crafts / secondaries if need be.. in daoc i use my personal gold to buy bp items if i want or buy mls... so again.. hard to judge..
either way.. i make nice money enjoying myself playing games. So yeah.. I'm doing great - especially this month..
(thanks to albs)

You gotta teach me Lexi, how to make money playing games. Take me as your apprentice, I deal in absolute, just like computers do!

Depends on what game you want to focus in. It can be like daoc using legal KVM switches, or going ghetto and just macro'ing a bunch of chars to do the same thing (which often get you busted), so it's best to buy a good KVM switch and use 1 computer as your master. WoW, isn't so easy as there is really no focus pl'ing in that game... a good pl'r in WoW will just know which quests to go to etc to make it faster. My sister can level a WoW char within 3 days if she grinds it out with time to sleep and turns them around for anywhere from $75 to $150 for a quick sale. Most of my money is doing bg's for lazy people... or honor grinding for people. DAOC is mostly a who knows who game and word of mouth since they hit spammers really fast. Warhammer was easy with basic macro programs or focus attacking each target, so it all depends on how you want to do it or what game you are after. I prefer daoc... it's relaxing... fun... and people always are looking for plat and are always to lazy to level on their own. Think I got Rackir to 50 faster then anyone else on his skald. I know nothing about Aion tho my friends are starting there this week. I'll most likely go in a few weeks.

I just bought Aion. Is there any class that can mass kill mobs quickly? Sorceror or Gladiator or another class that can get Kinah fast?
