At some point mainstream culture decided that for heterosexual men, it's not just about having a deep desire for woman as it had always been, but a loathing of men and the male form. The male body is not just unexciting and useless as it had always been, but repugnant and worthy of open scorn, even provoking faux-gag reflex. I used to see it a lot back when I was in the closet from some of my old boys, even the ones who were not really bigoted.
This phenomenon permeates the entire culture, and affects many people's attitudes. Thankfully it seems as though many are becoming less worried about proving this negative.
Good call. I received a compliment at work from a guy at work about something (hair, stache, hat, shirt... Can't remember) and I asked if I looked good. He got really awkward and told me to ask a woman. I'm not sure if he thought I was asking if he would go gay for me or what. I work with a bunch of homophobes though, so go figure.

i dont watch much lesbian porn myself. i love women but lesbians in a way bother me because I think, "man that's one hot chick who I'll never get with".
Bi women are another story <3

it comes down to what and who you want to see and what you find attractive. The vast majority of people find women attractive.
At the end of the day i'd rather hang out with gay dudes than lesbians, based on my experience. but if I had to watch either group copulate the choice would be easy.
I'd rather be friends with lesbians AND i'd prefer to watch them copulate.
