It's easy to say what doesn't work for other people if you've never dealt with it yourself.
The fact is that antidepressants do work for many people and can/do significantly change their quality of life for the better. Proper nutrition, vitamins and minerals can indeed improve some issues but they won't work for the chemical imbalance that is at the root of many kinds of depression.

depression can usually be treated in other ways and is usually an indication of some underlying issue like nutritional deficiencies.
And so you agree that in some cases medication is necessary to treat depression. Thanks for that.

and in rare cases, a chiropractor can fix lazy posture and back aches associated with it.
but usually people just need to stand up on their own

Well I'm not sure based on what I have read on this subject that I am saying that. I am simply saying that basically there are other reasons for the depressive symptoms that can be addressed by other means than medication.
and you're welcome.

No proof.. They only work in case studies that require the patient to say how they feel. They dont reduce the size of a tumor or make a cough stop or make you stop bleeding, etc...

So do placebos.

No. Placebos work. Not always, but then neither do "real" medicines.
You're just wrong. And even if you were right, it's a stupid point. If someone feels less pain the placebo worked. Arguing pain isn't "real" is beyond reatrded.
