Tenkly, I like you and I don't think pot should be an illegal drug.
If I were you, I would never bring this topic up on anything that can be traced back to you if you have inside knowledege or were involved.
In light of what has just happened to your friend, I would wipe my hard drive and change my forum name..lol ..and anything attached to that name.
I know it sounds crazy..but they are on this..and if he was set up you may be too.
This forum could actually be a form of proof as funny as it sounds.
You have talked about this topic in detail..farming, hiring ..sales..etc.

Smoking is one thing. Growing for yourself is another thing, but not a big deal either. Neither are likely to cause the cops to do anything.

His girlfriend is super fucking hot.. which is why I feel bad for the kid if he has to do any time.
His lawyer said he would be out friday until his first trial,though.

Sorry to hear man.
Spending police resources on busting people for pot (whether personal consumption or large scale distribution) is beyond pathetic. Spending more to put people into jail for it is a criminal act in and of itself.
I wouldn't worry about anyone "official" finding out you know about him getting busted and think it's a bad thing (which is all you have said here). I'm sure they realize that their stupid actions aren't going to be popular outside of the hypocritical geezer group that elects and/or appoints them.

Honestly Tali, they would have busted me too by now. Now it's too late I have nothing they can trace back to me.
my whole place is completely cleaned out. What can they arrest me for? Contemplating to sell? with what proof? text messages? I don't think that going to hold in court if there's no real hard evidence.
Maybe I'm wrong and they can but I highly doubt it, this isn't the minority report. I don't think you can arrest people that have nothing in possession for " possibly selling at future date"
