Moving thousands of dollars worth of anything police can bust you for is not smart, I don't care who you are or how much you've made. Pretty much every big time dealer I've ever known has gotten busted at some point, even if it was just weed. It might be different in Canadadada but I doubt it.

I'm not worried at all. I won't spend a second in jail. It has nothing to do with me, I have nothing linking me to this bust, other than being his friend. but he has hundreds of friends so in that aspect I guess we're all suspects . I don't care, though. it's done. just hoping he gets off easy
A 10 lb bust isn't really a big deal. It's the next level up from whoever they busted to snitch on him.
They'll be looking to get someone bigger than him out of this.
They'll offer him a deal. If he gets off easy it means he took it.

I remember one of the biggest dealers in High School used to say he was only going to do it long enough to buy a Chevy Blazer that he wanted. A couple years after we all left high school he got shot in a coke deal that went bad. Trading in a little weed is one thing, weight is another. When you get that large its not about the weed anymore, it's about the money.
Large piles of cash make people a little crazy.

This guy is going to squeal like a pig, names, addresses, phone numbers, who buys from who, who sells to who, they are going to know you and your friends better than you all do.

Doubt it. his lawyer is the best.
There was guy in court today using the same lawyer, he was being charged with 33 pounds of weed and 2 charges for failure to appear in court.
He got off with 5 years, possibility for parole after 2. and he also had a previous crim record of assault charges. He also never worked in the last 3 years so all his money was from drugs or something illegal
MY friend is a first time offender, with 1/3 of the amount and also had a FT job ( which he obviously going to lose but whatever).

If his lawyer is any good he will throw the rest of you to the wolves for a chance not to go to court, turn in three and go free.
