If I wouldn't be able to get into drug court, I'm carrying too much.
My record needs to stay as clean as a cats conscience. A criminal record that shows up in a background check is BAD, especially now

his lawyer told me he thinks cops are stupid and waste too much time and energy on the war on drugs as it shouldn't even be a real crime.
He ONLY takes drugs defense cases just so he can piss the crown off and keep them out of jail. He rarely ever loses. He is expensive but gets the job done.

I wouldn't be surprised if they let him off with probation.
That's if he cooperates.
Hell they might not even file charges if he has enough to offer.

With 10 pounds i think they will, but the punishment for a first time offense might be downplayed. Especially since its his first time. But then again 10 pounds is a good amount to get busted for. Not the most but its still significant. A dime bag or an 1/8th is another story they would just take it and let you go. When I got caught drinking and smoking when I was 16 he just poured my beer out on the ground and took my weed and dumped it on the ground and smashed it with his foot till it was dust. Then said get out of here, if I see you again I'll do more. I never did see him. I just got smarter about it.

anything under an ounce they wont bother arresteing for up here... i think you can have quite abit more, but Im not a pothead so I have no reason to keep up on weed laws
