I liked WAR and had more fun in that game then a lot of other MMOs. Until the ride crashed into a blazing inferno of suck at end game.
I also like SWTOR and think it has more potential than most other MMOs out there at this point.
I think Rift was the biggest waste of money.
Dawn of War 2 was a bigger disappointment than WAR IMO.

Normally I don't think it's fair to be able to call out just a single expansion to a game.
OTOH, ToA mayyyybe, and New Frontiers DEFINITELY, weren't expansions. They turned the game into something totally different.
Look at NF. When you completely delete the PVP zones that used to exist and replace them with new ones rather than 'add zones and play options'... that's a new game IMO. NF was a new game. It should have been designated DAOC-II.
(NF is also when I went from "merely disgruntled DAoC player" to "ex DAoC player." I saw NF on the test server, toyed with it, and quit right as it went live. ToA annoyed me and belittled what I cared about. NF broke everything I cared about.)

Ooh, another good candidate. Dawn of War 1 is one of the best RTSes ever. Dawn of War 2 is a steaming pile of shit.

Except that DAoC came out two full years before Shadowbane.

agreed on DoW2, but I think majesty 2 was more disappointing to me. I bought majesty 2 and got the steam version of majesty gold with it, and steam tells me I've played 120 hours of majesty gold and 3 hours of majesty 2. I guess in a way i got my 30 bones worth.
