MOO3 or Spore
I always assume a new MMO is just a weaksauce WoW clone with terrible, cliched mechanics. So that way, I'm never disappointed by warhammer/STO/ rift/etc

Age of Conan
No matter how disappointed with Warhammer too, it was actually ranked #2 for me out
of all MMOs I played

Impenetrable interface, automates the stuff you like to manage, forces you to manage the stuff no one cares about, elimination of many classic MOO races, crappy combat..etc etc. Its so bad, the original lead designer doesn't even mention it on his resume.

MoO 3 was bad but not that bad on its own. What made it so awful was it was a the sequel to two great games.

It screwed up almost everything that was great about MoO and MoO2. The game was a buggy, crashing mess. The space battles were terrible and the AI really bad. You couldn't even upgrade your old ships when you researched new tech.

Asheron's Call was a ton of fun.
Asheron's Call 2 takes the cake for disappointing.
It is followed closely by Warhammer.

So instead of automatically retrofitting your ships with newly-researched tech (something I really wished they'd have included in MOO2 and one of the few things I did not like managing in that game) they simply eliminated the ability entirely? Yeah that's pretty weak.
