Zimmerman is described by family as a multiracial Hispanic. His appearance is clearly that of a Latino/Mestizo individual.
On March 16th, the Sanford police department released new details to the Orlando Sentinel. Once again, these details have been ignored or changed by the media.
The witness reports that George Zimmerman was on the ground and Trayvon is on top of him punching him.
The witness says that George Zimmerman was screaming and yelling for help.
Police arrive and find Zimmerman bleeding on his face and the back of his head. He also has had grass stains on his back. All this confirms the story told by Zimmerman and the witness.
Police play the 911 tape for Trayvon Martin's father, who tells police that the voice screaming is not the voice of his son.
Lets just hang a possibly innocent Hispanic!

How could it have gone down that Zimmerman was innocent? He set out to harass an innocent kid which instigated the whole scenario. Best case is Zimmerman was guilty of harassment.

Consider this - Zimmerman had a gun. The kid was on vacation buying candy for his brother.
Zimmerman was out looking for trouble and he found it.
There is no law against walking down the street while black or wearing a hoodie. Zimmerman (remember, a man with a loaded weapon) was out looking for trouble.
All of this is zimmerman's fault and in this situation, the only danger to society was Zimmerman.
If a man comes up to someone and yells "f'ing coon,. what you doing on my street!?" then that's a indication that Zimmerman was the aggressor and the kid would've been legally right to kill Zimmerman (in self-defense). Unfortunately only the aggressor had the gun in this scenario.

My understanding of that Florida Stand Your Ground law is that Trayvon was perfectly justified in using up to deadly force on Zimmerman if he was scared of Zimmerman. I mean, the guy followed him around in a vehicle for a while, then got out of the vehicle and started following him. What would our intrepid Outposters do if that had happened to them?

I agree with you - it seems like only Trayvon is justified by the standard of the stand your groud law/self-defense; The aggressor is by act of aggression not acting in self-defense.

Yet Zimmerman was walking away when he got attacked from behind. Bashed in the head from BEHIND and beat down to the ground where he recieved a bloody nose while yelling for help.

Well, under Florida's retarded law that wouldn't necessarily mean Zimmerman did anything wrong. You could have a stupid legal system where both parties are allowed to kill the other one no matter who starts it because it becomes self defense for both of them at some point.
Knowing how stupid Florida is I wouldn't put it past that state.
