this kid was out buying candy while on vacation. he did nothing wrong.
a racist confronted him and killed him.
there was no reason for the confrontation - the kid had done nothing wrong and there was no reason to even call the police to harrass him.
the saying
"black in public"
rings true.

And the Sheriff's office that didn't arrest him has a history of racial issues.
I bet those clowns wish they had arrested the guy now. The sheriff has resigned and they are getting all sorts of Federal and Media attention. Heads are going to roll and Mr. Zimmerman is going to jail.
Which I think he should. If you read the details he shot this kid for no reason. Unless the kid attacked him with a licorice whip.

Seems like there are two possible scenarios.
(1)
- Zimmerman set out to harass an innocent kid.
- Zimmerman escalated the confrontation until it turned violent on both sides.
- Zimmerman shot and killed the kid.
This is murder.

- Zimmerman set out to harass an innocent kid.
- The kid escalated the confrontation until it turned violent on both sides.
- Zimmerman realized he was in over his head and shot the kid in order to save himself.
This is something short of murder. I don't know what crime it would be but it should be a crime.

What's funny about the drudge headline is that it proves projection.
Drudge is the type of guy who traffics in the "  ou don't think non-white people are capable of being racist". Yet here he is trying to pretend there's some sort of distinction if he's white or not as if that invalidates any charges of racism in this case.

Pretty much. But, apparently, no innocent kid wears a hoodie. At least, not according to Geraldo.
