Of course he was going to wade into it. His pandering is so painfully obvious that I think it might backfire, though.

I've been assuming (until correction) that he is of mixed Cuban descent. However, the collectivist left has long worked hard to exploit race to aggrandize their platform. It is contemptible, sad and wantonly war mongering for the fires that it starts. It should be enough to just prosecute Zimmerman for his crime and leave it to the judge for sentencing, but that isn't enough, certain camps needs to whip up hysteria and a frenzy over the actions of an obvious bigot and menace.
