and you would be wrong.
There were eye witnesses on the phone with 911 and watching as it unfolded enough to tell the cops that the kid was the one who started the physical fight.
They have other 911 recordings from that night.. including one with screaming audible. In those calls all of the people were too afraid to go look and see what was going on.

The story I saw is that the kid was on the phone with his GF and that recording doesn't speak well for Zimmerman.
he was on the phone wiht his GF.. but i don't believe there is a recording. It is only her testimony.

Testimony we wouldn't have had from the police investigation because they never bothered to check the phone. Or talk to her.

well i hadn't seen that anywhere. In any case, the police department never interviewed her, even though she and her parents called the police to offer her testimony.
Oh also add to the list of things the police never did was make Zimmerman go to the hospital to examine any injuries...

And Vydor, it really doesn't matter that some people won't be satisfied until Zimmerman sees prison. That's normal. A kid died, his parents will want the man who killed him to see prison. Hell he could be found innocent of any crime. or at least acquitted, and people still won't be satisfied, and it still doesn't matter. What people are justified in asking for is a full investigation of this case that doesn't just shrug and take Zimmerman's word that he was justified in killing the kid. Which is what the police did.

I know people want an investigation, but I think it's to the point now, where the outcome has already been decided with the masses, and anything short of Zimmerman doing hard time or death will be unacceptable.
