It does not have to. It does not matter if you think it is credible or not. It is what it is. The numbers are close enough that the reality is self-evident. Simple denial does not lend credibility to your position. Lets see some contradictory reasoning other than you just do not want to think it could be so.

This is a nonsense argument.
First, it is not Mythic that would make the decision, it would be EA. Mythic does not have the authority to spend funds on DAoC 2.
Second, it has already been shown (on many, many threads) that Mythic is often stupid, self-destructive, arrogant, selfish, psychotic, etc. . . . Using Mythic’s evaluation as a basis for your statement/conclusion completely and utterly lacks any logic.
Also, EA has been shown to lack insight when it comes to evaluating Mythic, evaluating how Mythic operates and in evaluating DAoC’s potential. If EA had some real aptitude they would never have been gullible enough to believe MJ’s pabulum.
That EA swallowed the fantasy spewed from MJ shows that EA never understood what was happening with DAoC and EA never understood DAoC’s potential.
Again, while I have not gone to EA and done an analysis of their management team, a great deal can be learned from watching their methodology (or lack of) when they purchased Mythic, funded WH and left MJ running WH development.
With EA seeming to lack real insight into DAoC and EA simply using an outsiders view point, it should be obvious that from any outsiders view point DAoC looks like a failed/failing game that has run its course and should be milked till it is dead.
All this should be self-evident.
Again, your comment, “If the numbers added up Mythic would have done it already.†is a good sound bite but for any that know the reality of DAoCs history, your statement lacks logic.
