I'm 3L0 because I accidentally leveled out of Cathal Valley when I was raising my artifacts in a task dungeon. And the funny thing is, some dude did the same thing an hour before me. I should have been paying attention instead of cooking lunch. Oh well..... There is nothing I can do about that now. And it doesn't change the topics I mentioned above.

As for my realm abilities, I don't even mention that in chat when LFG. Right now I still have the abilities suited for Cathal Valley when I had to run around solo half the time: Physical Defense 6, Long Wind 1, and Mastery of Focus 1.

I already know a respec is needed to gather those group friendly realm abilities, but at this point it wouldn't matter. I haven't even been invited to a group, so nobody even knows what my RAs are. It would take less thatn 5 minutes to change them as needed.

Do you really think Physical Defense 6 is a good RA for Cathal Valley, with no purge, no twf, no baod, no wild power, or wild minion, no aug dex?

Are you even templated?

How did you level out of CV from leveling artifacts? You know artifacts gain XP with /xp off, right?

Yes, PD6 is good in cathal valley when you are stuck soloing.

One 10 minute purge didn't help much when I had random melee in my face, especially stealthers when I walked through a milegate. And when I was in a group, it was the melee that would charge at me (when we had no healer type). It saved me plenty of times. I don't expect it to work in NF where there are tons of casters and you can easily get the talent to give high resists to magic.

And I did not know artifacts gain experience with xp off. I leveled out in a task dungeon when I was cooking lunch and not paying attention. Only time I log on that BD for NF is when there are fights on Mid side, or when we have a keep I can teleport to on the enemy side. It's the only way to leech RPs. Not my idea of fun pvp, but it will work for now.

Whether I stick with it in another two weeks is another story. Hoping things get slightly better. Right now I'm working on a huntard in molvik. At least that class does decent solo as it's supposed to.

3.
Stun mechanics. I don't mind mezz, but casted stun is just way over the top. Almost all my deaths occurred during a stun in which I could not even get an insta spell off. My resists are probably a tad low at 28 to 48%.

6.
Casters that nuke faster than I can say “WoW.” Yea, a lame attempt at WoW humor, but the fact remains... casters are a bit out of whack even with decent resists.

So.. stun and casters are overpowered, yet you avoid the two RA's you have in order to deal with them, in exchange for higher melee resists?

That's a pretty angry tone for someone who posted:

@ OP

First of all you are a noob. I'm not trying to insult you just stating a point. It takes some time and experience to realize why this game is good, and why lots of the things you complain about are not actually bad for the game.

Your first 2 points are pretty valid though. You need a good guild or a good bunch of friends to really have any fun in this game IMO. You also have to play quite a bit. Going out by yourself is stupid and you get farmed by people who got the brilliant idea to only go out in 2's so they can always destroy those who solo.

@ everyone else. Why are you all being such jackasses to the noob? Oh congrats, you proved a noob that he is wrong, better make him feel like a pile of s#*$ so that you feel like the king of the world. That's like me (with a mathematics major) going up to a grade 8 school kid and telling him why he is such an idiot for not understanding high school calculus.

One problem is the OP went to NF at RR3, and casters at that RR are pretty much useless.

Problem two is, he actually LEFT the BG's...which were the best parts of the game imho.

NF became an area of high RR stealth zergs, and/or the random small man ass clowning noobs left and right.

My suggestion is either stick it out and continue to take in the rear until RR5 or re-roll a more self-sufficient class.

Somewhere "south" of $100million to develop, and now subscriptions are somewhere south of 100k, gotta love the irony.

He's made these posts before and hasn't gotten better over the course of at nearly three years. This is an indication that he is among the people that don't want to be helped, and just expect the situation to get better without putting in any effort or accepting any of the responsibility.
