The one that sticks out to me was the Block calculation change. While they did in fact patch note it, how badly that one change broke high level PvE encounters was not communicated ahead of time to the playerbase. That was a huge cluster....

(not that is what you meant, but I don't feel like digging)

So i ask for a non anounced gamebreaking change and you give me one that was in the patchnotes and on pendragon? Awesome work there dude.

Mythic has a horrible coding history. This all makes perfect since given that.

Actually i am not, ppl who did bother to prove the turd wrong in that thread did so, and then the discussion of a 2s spell is the same as a 2s spell or not becuse of the diff results started.

So Go test the melee "changes" and the runspeed "changes" gogo i am waiting!

EDIT: Gona be fun to see the results tbh as the hardcap for spells is at 40% of the original delve (for all spells and the increse in speed is % based with dex) And that my friend caps at 386dex with 10% speed.

Forgot to mentiopn the 10% speed that you need also >.<

Haha, that was actually rather funny I must be tired tho, Im usually not that easily entertained.

Heh, Im not sure if something have changed or not, testing it can never be a bad thing (except for qui effecting runspeed )

Jocke have already made up his mind tho, so this is just going to be an endless loop.

The patch note in question was in the New things and Bug fixes section of 1.62 listed as an RvR change. The fact it affected PvE so horribly was not announced and only found out and found to be a huge issue AFTER the patch left Pendragon.

I know. I was on one of the first Sidi raids that ran after the patch on Lancelot. Boy that was fun.

Why would I do that? You don't play. What I found would be irrelevant to you and a waste of time for me, as all of these numbers represent nothing but a passing fancy.

Meh, when I played, if I recall correctly, anything over 400 dex with 10% cast speed was considered a waste.

You would hit the soft cap...so basically, not worth it.

But, if you had say like 355 dex, then the 10% cast speed would take you to the cast speed cap.

But it has been a while, I could be wrong.

Somewhere "south" of $100million to develop, and now subscriptions are somewhere south of 100k, gotta love the irony.

From my in-game experience, OP is right and you are wrong.

There does seem to be some kind of cap though.

I just tried the NS 3.0 SPD nuke with 10% casting speed and 445 DEX and it cast the same speed as with 389 DEX, and presumably also 374 DEX which is the last breaking point the OP identified for this SPD. Everything described in the OP has held true for both my NS 3.0 SPD DD, and my Clerics 2.6 SPD baseline DD.

Once again, nice work Slajzer!

GRR though to that cap, I was really hoping to get that 3.0 down to a 1.1 cast speed, but it seems to be impossible.

Hi guys,

I am just curious. Did someone check if the breakpoints vary with different TOA Speed?

I am a number nerd and I am interested in trying to figure out what the formula could be.

As I dont have 2 accounts right now and a high enough Caster to test things I cant

check this for myself.

Best regards,

Mox
