Holy crap...
We are all sitting here on the VN, flame warring over cast speeds?!?!?!
Grow up lol... tweaking your casting so that you are .001 faster then the other caster isn't going to get you far.
There are other varibles (Lag times, System performance) etc that play into these calculations.

For slajzer's theory to be true, that would mean Mythic's casting system had been a hastily coded stat system that does not accurately reflect each point, but rather a simplistic "tier" system in which stats are applied.
Now I ask you, does that sound like something that would happen in a Mythic product. WELL DOES IT?
Sorry - quite off track by now, but I this really really made me laugh

Can someone explain to me what I should be taking from this data? I am very confused. Does each spell haves its own perfect Dex cap? I liked when Dex cap was 386
It still is.
No. And you continue to be more pathetic every time you post on this subject.
Becuse i dont trust a sample size of 25 or the fact that ppl have given DIFF numbers whe THEY tested it? look on the ywain thread you tool.
EDIT: Basicly the suporers of this is the ones that have made up their mind and now try and figure out why their numbers dont work out as they "should" and thus trying to make stuff up. "maybe a 2.0s spell is not as fast as a 2.0s spell maybe there is a hidden value!" yea okey.

... you would think so, but then there's this guy ^^^^^

What would be a good test to do is simply disprove the 386 casting cap without all this granularity. Just choose the best case from your sample above and retest it with ONLY 386 DEX vs. 400+ DEX and you can easily prove that the 386 Cap is wrong. Once that is accomplished plainly and without plausible doubt, even the most thick-headed people will be more open to new ideas/input.

To bad no one actually did what he suggested then. If they did then it would be cool, however they did not. In the ywain thread they are trying to figure out why a 2.0s spell is not as fast as another 2.0s spell.

Except you're the one making claims without any proof. All recent testing confirms my test, not exactly at some points, but they all confirm breakpoints and increase in cast speed at dex > 386 for many spells.
Now please stop trolling?
Edit: But hey, thanks for keeping this thread bumped. It might educate some people that are mot as stubborn and narrow minded as you are, or at least make them think for themselves and maybe do some tests of their own.

No your tests are lacking in so many ways, do a proper test in stead like wind said. The proof i have SEEN steamroll these "tests"
To bad you where not here when those test where done.
