Ah yes. That is the proc level requirement. The Bonus Level requirement is what you have to meet or exceed for stats, resists, caps, and % benefits.

I tend to stick to Gems or Horror/Terror/Nightmare, Peridas' Might cloaks, Peridas' Insight gems, and some of the weaker ToA Belts (Sethrender's Belt comes to mind) when I want to add casting speed or melee speed to a Thid toon. I don't tend to waste much time worrying about +damage, though.

Note, however, for completeness, that I play in Thid maybe twice a year. My opinions on what is necessary or desirable there might be questionable.

I want to SC some weapons here pretty soon for molvik. What are the SC points if it is just a regular crafted weapon VS a dragonsworn?

And my shild has a 2% to melee damage does that mean it is a 37.5 or 34.5?

A Dragonsworn weapon has +5 stat cap, so it can handle 34.5 points. A plain level 51 weapon can handle 37.5.





Forgot to mention that shield specifically. Like any other 2% damage item, it will take 37.5 points.

I crafted a new dragon armor and when put it on, it did not give me the built in bonus in Thid, level 24 char. Can't remember what the level requirement was for the built in bonuses (this is the section at the top, not the value that says Bonus at the bottom. So you can't get that built in benefit from dragon armor in thid.

Also, I have not been able to get more then 2% to casting speed or weapon speed in Thid. I think the peridots cloak or jewel give some but the 3rd item is level 25 I think.

Yes, you can. You must fill ALL gem slots for the "fifth slot" to work. Assuming you don't raise the bonus level to above 24 in the process of adding four gems, it'll work fine in thid.





For melee speed, I like Peridas' Might, Sethrender's Belt, and Gem of Terror - any two of which will give you 4% melee speed, which is all you can use there.

For casting speed, start with an Gem of Horror, then look for a piece of RoG that will do for the last two percent. I keep a couple of pieces of crappy RoG from back in the day for that purpose.
