We have the Decal Status thread to STOP the ETA posts.. not to get more of them.

As I have said.. We do NOT have an ETA. We will NOT have an ETA. We have no estimates because there is no measurable way to MAKE an estimate. so PLEASE stop asking. When we have status, it will be in the Status thread which has been stickied.

We really are trying to make it sooner than later. Believe me, we aren't intentionally holding anything back, or delaying the release because we're sick and twisted and like to watch people squirm. We're doing everything in our power to get it done as quickly as possible.

I'm going to put this part in caps in case some people can't read it very well..

THERE IS NO ETA. THERE WILL NOT BE AN ETA FOR A WHILE. WHEN WE HAVE AN ETA YOU WILL KNOW. THERE IS NO REASON TO ASK FOR AN ETA ANYMORE SO STOP ASKING. THIS IS YOUR ETA AS IS THE STICKY POST. WHEN WE KNOW WHEN IT WILL BE DONE, YOU WILL ALSO KNOW.

not to mention that in 2 weeks when they have the monthly update it will be broken again,so no point in releasing it until after that anyway.

or will the new patches not break it anymore??

i am playing without it,but sure do miss it,the only thing i dont miss is the multi account macros that take up half the fellow for the entire day

I thought they said the new client wouldn't break it every month...

who said that?

Monthly patches will still require memloc changes for now. At least until Turbine gets something more official in terms of the API or something.

No QueryMemlocs in UST or Zyrca Bot (or private plugins)

Suggest if/when ImpFilter is updated that you base on 2.9.0.5 instead of the 2.9.0.8 if possible, as the latter had some bugs not present in the former.

Gouru, you stated there won't be support for Win9x ... but AC specifically calls out Win98SE as a viable OS platform for the game. Many of us use these older OS to run our bots on - will this mean we will need to upgrade these machines after the new version is released? Just wondering, because if I have to upgrade that machine, I'll get on it now while everything is still in process

But that is Turbine, not the Decal Devs. I would consider upgrading just to get off of Win98.

Is 9x not supported only for plugin developers or for those who wish to use decal? or am i asking a stupid question,i'd just like that clarified.
