Krackcode, sorry I didn't respond earlier, I thought the answer was kind of obvious, but since you took the time to repeat the question.
No, we aren't using the DX9 libraries, actually since we believe in NEVER using the right tool for the job, we have also stopped using a compiler and instead we're hex editting the changes directly. We realize this may slow down the release a little, but the true art of programming lies in using the right size wrench to pound in the screw.
As for talking with Turbine about the future, where is the fun of that? Much better to keep a complete hands off attitude and be surprised along with everyone else when changes happen. I suppose you used to talk to your parents about what was in your presents before Xmas as well?

Thank you very much for your updating. I used to think you were a jerk from your posts. I never said anything, didn't want to jump the gun or anything. After reading up over the last couple of weeks, I understand why you respond the way you do. Stupid impatient questions would make me answer that way as well. NOW, I look forward to your posts. I find humor in the fact that the people who are getting bashed don't realize it for at least 5 minuites. I love it.
BTW I love decal, Thank you and the other Decal Devs for your hard, tireless work. Especially in the face of the impatient minority of ppl. I for one appreciate you guys.

Thanks, that clears it right up. 
I actually like seeing the short updates. From my experience programming, that means things are moving along. when things are stuck, its easiler to justify spending time putting together long posts.
