opinion is opinion. plz ask for version 2 to be unkillbitted. it was better in every way. better if the ones who were still having a problem to pick a slower less effective version then everyone having to.

I started using lifetank when my mage was casting level 6 wars and I also set stam2mana and heal for level 6s too. Even when I started casting level 7 wars I kept the other settings at 6s even when hunting in EO. It's just they way I've always played. I saw a tiny issue the other night, but not enough to really complain about. Casting stam2mana at 25% instead of 50% wasn't an issue in my opinion. It never caused me to die.


On another note, while I was tweaking my plugins tonight I remembered that BuffMe has an auto-revitalize option. I set that to stam2mana/heal level 7s at lower settings than lifetank. Sure enough BuffMe healed/stam2mana before Lifetank did. For the time being that works as a fix. One of my vassals said that AC+ can also do this, but I have not experimented with that so far.

For what it's worth, my two pyreals' worth ...


I mainly use LT only on my mages, and only in EO while I'm sitting there yakking in /a or to my hunting partner. I have noted the following things:


First, the mana issue IS new - when I was using version .2 I never had a problem with it. Since updating to the newer version? It is a constant issue, as is healing. I will also note I never received a CoC violation or boot when using version .2 at all.


Second, spellcasting is appreciably slower. Even version .2 in non-turbo mode was downright speedy compared to what is happening now.


Third, trying to manually override is far more difficult now than it was before. Not exactly sure why, however.


Is it possible that it is not the spellcasting itself that was causing problems, but the other options that many would turn on? For example, I don't have LT set to log me out, regardless of reasons you allow to be checked. I also do not have it logging tells and such (why bother? I'm there). I have unfriendly player detection turned off (I don't pk/pkl, so that is totally unnecessary for me). Could it possibly be one or a combo of these options that were causing issues? I find it hard to believe spellcasting alone was the issue.


As far as what plugins people are running? I've not changed a single plugin since this problem cropped up, and have received zero boots/violation notices. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I think some of these other options may be more to blame - in particular the unfriendly player detection, which I'd think would be scanning the immediate area quite a bit to find them? (When I've logged on a character that hasn't been logged on since the update, I have to manually turn it off, and the darn thing reports EVERYONE in the vicinity )

Serena is correct on ac+, it will maintain mana/stam/heath.

In ltx go to the vitals tab and move the sliders to the bottom of the scale.

Turn ltx off and back on.


In ac+ find the enable button for stam, mana and heath.

Find the sliders (other tab i think, am at work)and set them where you want them.

Some where above 1/2 is good for me.

ltx works great for me if set like this. Still feels like the slow run animation in WOW tho.


Ac+ is a extremly good plugin in my opinion. It will do buffing/maintain buffs and weapon switching for you.

I have not had the chance to test it with melee but it has some great options from my brief look at it.


As always i do really appreciate the Devs who work on these programs, you make the game much more playable.

my opinion is it was a big mistake killing version .2,it was a far superior product than version .3/4


even before i turned turbo off it was much better dealing with the coc boots than the way the latest version works now and without turbo enabled i had no coc boots.


this is not a flame as the developers are pretty busy in real life and havent had the game time to see for themselves.


this is just a statement of my own personal preference and facts as i've experienced them.

We understand everyone preferred .2. Posting it won't bring it back. .3 and .4 were released as a quick fix to combat the CoC boots due to Turbine's changes... so no testing or any other changes (as far as I know) were done except to reduce the spam of commands sent to the server.


Right now neither one of us have time to sit down and fine tune anything. At some point we will and it will be addressed, but right now it's going to stick. As soon as we get time to have a short chat about what's changed and the issues that need to be addressed (speed and mana from what I'm gathering) we will talk about it.


We also understand that there were many people who were affected by the Turbine changes and were getting booted contantly and consistantly. Honestly, were we supposed to leave those to hang out to dry? We felt a quick fix would tide everyone over until we had proper time to address the spell issues.
