I was running 11.7.0.1 and never got booted.

I would like to second what Circus Freak said. This is a now issue and the developers have REAL lives. They will fix it when they have a chance. If LTX is killing your character then why don't you *gasp* play without LTX?


I have no had an issue thus far, but I set my mage to cast level 6 heal & stam2mana.


Thank You Paraduck and Crelic for continuing to develop LifeTank for us.

11.7.0.4 is so slow that i feel like i am running down the road in wow.

It cannot maintain mana or stam at all and is mostly unusable.

It is really good at killing your character.


Is there any way to re enable 11.7.0.2?

For myself - As much as I admire LTX I find it slow but that doesnt bother me. I am an admitted plug-in junkie. I love to try them out and see what kind of creativity the Dev has used in development. I admire their work even tho I dont use it except to give it a workout in game and learn what the plug-in can do. I particularly like Skunkworks plug-ins because they allow me to follow, admire and learn from the actual code work and logic of the Dev.


Then I go back to my keyboard and use it to play the game. Not because that makes me better or more 'pure' than anyone else. It's just the way I am used to playing. Also, I devoted untold hours to developing keyboard skills and dont want to lose them. I do get lazy from time to time and use plug-ins to re-buff.


The whole point is -- the Devs have spent a huge number of hours Developing their work. We--- their admirers and product users --- have no right to insist they continue their work. If they do -- its great and we continue to benifit. If not-- we benefited from their work.


I hope Crelic and Paraduck continue. If they do -- great. If RL or some other reason prevents or delays their continuation, so be it. We were an unpaid passenger on their train. I understand the inherent problems involved, but I wish there were ways we -- the admirers and users -- could pay the Devs for their past and present efforts. Verbal thanks and praise just don't seem adequate.

hmmm, i never thought to try a stepdown on vitals, thx for the idea Serena, ill give it a try and will check out potion use

As far as the spell issues go, I'll summarize what I said in another thread:


I think I know what the problem is. Spells are now queued, so they don't spam the server. The queue is checked every 0.5s or so. If there's a spell, the macro will attempt to cast it. Once it successfully casts, it is removed from the queue. So what's happening is that a bunch of war spells are getting queued, and LT is trying to cast them before regen spells such as s2m. Due to where I tested the change, I didn't get into a state where there were extra war spells queued up, so I never saw this problem.


Fortunately, I think I know of a fix: Whenever you need to cast a spell to restam, heal, or s2m, those spells need to go to the front of the queue. Due to how LT handles war and buff spells, it should be sufficient to simply clear the queue, add the new spell, then go on as normal -- LT will recast the buff/war spells, if necessary.


Unfortunately, as I don't have VB6 on my laptop, I'm unable to get out a fix (I went home for Jul 4, so was able to get the boot fix out then since I have VB6 on my desktop.) I've sent the info to C'relic and I'm sure once he has time, he'll get it out.

I got booted for CoC 2 times with version .2 (no turbo enabled). Dl'd .3 last night (because .2 isn't supported[?]). I, also, am unable to detect an unfriendly player using version .3. I have both detect places checked. Just a FYI.

No changes were made to player detection. Not sure why it's spotty now.


But you are at your keyboard, so you shouldn't be in danger of being killed by a PK or reported/banned for UCM.

Doesn't necessarily mean I'm not in danger of being killed. Sitting there typing in /a, all of a sudden I have a sword in my face, wasn't pretty. Either way, I DL'd version .4 and tested it out for an hour. All seems to be working smoothly, allbeit, a tad sluggish (mostly during looting). The Nav option is working smoothly, also. You guys rock and I thank you for all your time and expertise you're extended to me.
