CONSIDER using profiles, for various areas, that way the list of 'critters' isn't usually that long.


LIKE profile for DI, Viss, VOD, EO, minibosses, COL, GY, Quests would be some suggestions.


that way you can tailor the weapons for various places. I.E. for EO you'd likely only list a bludge rended and an acidRended weapon. Makes buffing while under that profile shorter as you don't Buff/bane a ton of other 'semi-useless to what you doing NOW' stuff.


and if you stopped hunting EO and moved you your DI LS, just switch the profile, turn on plug in and any weapons not buffed will be, then can turn off plug in and go ravage the countryside.

That would work if I actually hunted Meaning hunted in a few differant places alot. I'm more just questing or helping others or just roaming so I never know what I'm gonna run into with much advanced warning to set up differant profiles. Don't think I've seen the inside of EO in over a year unless it was to help someone recover from ninjas lol.

I am happy to report that 0.3.1.17 works perfectly.

The lag is gone and it works as well as it used to.

It's probably just me, but I don't see a link anywhere to get ver .17 on the webpage. All I see 3.1.0.


Does it update from within VTank? I have not had much success with this plugin, but it doesn't hose my connection whenever I try to switch characters like that other tank plugin. Guess I'll find out once Decal is updated after patch this morning.

3.1 is the classic tried and true tested VTank


3.1.17 is the BUNDLED group that is being tested/upgraded ect.


eventually the vtank download will get an upgrade to a stable version of the bundled, but that's after VI feels that it is as bug free as possible.

go to V.I.s site on the plugin page at the top is a big banner/section about the BUNDLED version with several other plugins 'bundled' with the underdevelopment version of VTank. If you don't want to use any of the other 'bundled' plugins you can turn them off once installed under the Decal Agent's plug in list.


down, near the end of the page is the solo more stable VTank version. IF you scroll up the page you'll see in about 24 hours V.I. release .14, .15, .16 and .17 adding/coorecting features and then running into a bug/issue and jumping on and fixing that with yet another release or two.


so you have two options, more experienced computer users familiar with upgrades/dl's infestations will probably go for the 'bundled version' while the not so savy more timid types can take the stand alone Vtank - right now the biggest issue between them is i don't think solo supports 2handed weapons, while the bundled version does.

YOU don't have it straight, i'm no more invovled then you are.


THE blundled version is available on her dl page at the top. if you don't want to use the other bundled plugins turn them off once installed via Decal Agent plugin listing.


YOU had to scroll past the bundled version way down the page to get to the link to the classic vtank dl. my i suggest you clean your glasses before jumping all over folks

Going around and complaining (in a demanding way) to decal plugin devs is bad style already - but if you really feel you need to do it, at least read and understand everything on the respective site.
Bundled VTank is just as easily available as the stable version (which is working, no idea why you'd think it's buggy or not functional).

Both the bundled version and the stable version are available for anyone to download and use. There is absolutely no 'invite only' or 'special users' group, everyone that is using VTank is either using the standalone 'stable' one or the bundle edition.

The theory behind the bundled version is this: since the bundle comes with auto-update capability installed by default, as well as a feedback mechanism (Virindi Integrator 2, a cross server chat plugin, amongst other things), new releases first are posted there.

If problems are found with new features, people can quickly let me know about it when I am online using Integrator2 chat. Then, I can make a fix and distribute it very quickly to all bundle users without them having to each go out and download and install a new version (the update happens automatically the next time you completely close AC and start it again).

With the standalone version, without automatic updates, it is much more likely that people will put off updating when a new version comes out, because it involves the work of actually downloading an installer manually. Because of this, the theory is that I will wait awhile before updating the standalone version with new features to make sure that the concerns of everyone on the bundle are addressed.


Once again, you are free to choose whichever version you like. If you get the bundle, I or many of the other bundle users will probably be able to provide instant support for any problems that you encounter on the Vigeneral channel of Integrator2.

The bundle edition is not meant to be buggy or unusuable, the main difference is the manner of support and feedback and the ability to respond quickly to problems. Just ask any bundle user about encountering issues...most of the time they will tell you that they asked about something there, and it was fixed within a day.
