Mold is probably the biggest concern here - and it's not cheap to get rid of.

also I'm hoping you have a lease agreement. I would imagine running any type of business out of a rental is a no no unless specifically stated as a commercial property.

sorry, they're gone. I wouldn't want someone turning my property into a grow house.

Turning my house into a grow-op - out you go. (You've got mold issues already I'd bet.)
Doing something that's going to attract more break-ins - out you go.

I was actually going to quote you aon.

But you quoted yourself.

Anyways, while they're not likely to go after a house with only 30 plants, there is nothing saying that they can't.

I'd want to kick them out, but it may not be that simple. All sorts of problems could arise if they want to get pissy about it. I think I would probably wait until the lease ran out and then just tell them I was not renewing it.

They can seize the house. Whether or not they will who knows but that option is theirs. Also mold is a problem too. Finding good renters is hard to find but police raids and whatnot really isn't worth the trouble.

Thanks for all the advice. Another thing we are considering is moving into that house and renting out the house we currently live in. The other house is smaller, and not as nice, but it is closer to work.

Too much risk to keep them, also when you start looking for new renters, there is a website that my Mom uses to check out what previous landlords say about a tennant, which has helped her weed out the worst of them... I can't remember the name of it, but I'm sure you could find it with google.
