i carry a 23.....40 cal..
but it totally depends WHAT you are hunting... 
but i would prob use a long gun for hunting by default....

well basically, YES!
at the very least, it gives you a great excuse to kill black people.
if you scoped one in, it's kind of hard to claim self defense...but if you are say 7 yards, easy defense!

I am thinking about getting the 23 which is why I was there today. The subcompact looks way to small for my hand, and the 23 has enough rounds and appears more concealable than the full size. But I will rent some at the range before making my purchase.
