You're right, Reg; it would appear to be marketed as a camp gun. A pistol might not be ideal for ursicide, but also bear in mind that most states limit the capacity of high powered semi-automatic rifle magazines to a maximum of 5 rounds.

I carry my Glock when hunting, fishing, and camping. Never know what you are gonna run across. I would never count on .40 cal to kill a bear but if I had no choice I wouldn't hesitate to put 13 rounds into one.

They accounted for almost 65% of US handgun sales last year and are used in too many to count law enforcements agencies across the country, so I would say no.

well basically, YES!
at the very least, it gives you a great excuse to kill black people.
if you scoped one in, it's kind of hard to claim self defense...but if you are say 7 yards, easy defense!
