Looking at this matrix: here. You can hover over certain categories, ie Military, Law Enforcement, Personal Defense, Sporting, etc etc, to determine their recommendations for you.
But hunting? I never knew people hunt with them.
But hunting....

To the OP: Glocks are as viable as a hunting pistol as any other semi-auto pistol is viable for hunting.

If you're hunting like dick Cheney hunts then yeah. Just walk up to a pig pen and unload your glock clip into a few. bam, hunting.

If you google, you'll find some videos and links to people hunting with Glocks. It can be done.
Now, when you say "primarily used for white cops" do you mean "used BY white cops" or do you mean "used by people for the shooting of white cops"?
Interestingly, a lot of the anti-Glock rhetoric in the gun community is from lots of rednecks who dislike the popularity of Glocks "back in the day" in gangsta culture. A great many "1911 die-hards" will tell you that a Glock is a "brotha's gun"... Odd no?

I will check out youtube then. I am not a big hunter but I never contemplated hunting with handguns period.

Yeah, I dunno much about it myself. I'm not a fan of handgun hunting either.

Truth, but that's not why those crusty 1911 douches hate Glocks lol.
In fact, if ease of use and relative effectiveness of function to training required were the primary driving force behind gun sales, there would be no other pistols on the market besides Glocks, and they might not even exist because revolvers are even simpler.
