If that is too much, stop going. Download the live bootleg for free.

You'd think sending someone to jail for just downloading a movie would run into the whole "cruel and unusual punishment" thing of the eighth amendment. Granted, we're also talking about an administration that backs $20,000+ per song fines also..

That's just one of the first hits on google, they've backed excessive fines numerous times. Like I said, with a little profanity like Biden as your VP that's what you get

uh no musical act makes their money from cd's they get like pennies for each cd sold.

they sell 2 million cd's and get paid 5 cents per cd, you do do the math....

All musical acts make their cash from touring...

turned my cynical penis into a happy vagina
Then after an Oatmeal Cranberry and Double Chocolate,
it made my new vagina spontaneously sing the Trolololo Song in an elevator.

My issue is that there is no censensus on how much money people are actually losing due to piracy.

Every study contradicts the one before it. Hollywood just totals up all prices for every hit a torrent gets and calls it the price tag of piracy, but REAL studies often show that people who would PAY for the IP in question will pay for it no matter what. I think a recent white house study came to the conclusion taht the costs of piracy have been vastly exaggerated...
