Did I tell you the blade got f***ed on me? My brother put it in its scabbard and hung it behind the door in the furnace room of the house. I never noticed for about 2 months.
When I finally did, there was moisture build up on the velvet within the scabbard touching the blade and it rusted it a bit. I can probably buff it out with a dremel tool, but I have not done that yet.
It pissed me off.

Pretty good Fantasy book series...not my favorite, but pretty good. It's gotten so many people reading the books (so I guess this is a good thing)...it's 'new' for a lot of people and they act like they just discovered it all by themselves and want to tell you about how good it is. It's like, "Ummmm yeah I know". "I'm on Book 3, what Book are you on?" "yeah I read them years ago, and then re-read them waiting forever on A Dance With Dragons..." "Oh. Don't tell me what happens."
I DO like how HBO has committed to doing the series right (high production value).

Whatcha think about Brandon Sanderson and what he's done/doing to the series?
My personal opinion is he's gotten a few mannerisms of characters wrong, but overall I've been fairly impressed.
