The Jeep will not last half as long as the Honda Pilot. And that is any Jeep model.

I dunno. The Jeep Wrangler is know to be one of the very best vehicles in holding it's value. Look it up.

Yeah, Wranglers hold their value very very well- none of the other Jeep products do. We were looking at one a little over a year ago, but decided not to for various reasons. We ended up buying a Toyota 4-runner instead, which made me glad when we found out we were expecting. The Wrangler only seats 5, so this new baby would have put us over the limit (and we're a one-car household).

Low..ride..er..ride a little lower. So, you are ruling out all SUVs as well? I don't think there is really a such thing as a short SUV with a lot of room. What you are describing seems to be a station wagon, which is way dorkier than a mini van I hate to say it.
Not at all, but some SUV's are harder to get into than others. If it sits up tooooo high the dogs cant get in, thats really the only concern.

I have had my Wrangler for 12 years. It has no rust on it, runs great, and hasn't hit 100k miles yet.  JD

I'm talking about cars that people actually drive. Yeah I could get a Yugo to last 50 years if I stuck it in a garage wrapped in saran wrap.
