That is a lot. I have 30k on mine in 3 years.

Just under 15k a year isn't bad for a Minnesotan.

The first 2 years I had the Wrangler I was driving 80 miles round trip to work 5 days a week.

I think my commute now is about 15 minutes compared to about an hour then.

Wranglers are cool for everyday driving and what not.

Just never take a road trip in one, unless you need the capability of a jeep where ever your headed.

Yet you still haven't put 100,000 miles on it in 12 years. Despite what you think, you're not driving much. And as much as you like doing your Jeep Wrangler wave, the Honda Pilot is still a much much much better vehicle for what Cutt and Tessa have described.

1. Roomy enough for kids and dog
2. Unmentioned, but would assume with children - want the best crash safety
3. Fuel efficiency

Don't fall into the "resale value" trap, it's a lot of hooey.

Don't recall saying I did a lot of driving. I do live in town tho.
Wasn't doing a wave either.
I think the Pilot is just a bleh vehicle.
At least a person can have some FUN in a Wrangler. Dunno if the Pilot is 4 wheel or not/don't care.

I have no complaints on what I have spent for gas in the Jeepster either.
Oh, and I did say it was STAYING in the family...so no hooey here.
I do remember saying I may be getting something other than a Jeep this time too.

/shrug

WTF kind of Jeep Wrangler owner are you not doing the wave?!?! That's one of the best parts.

haha funny you mentioned that!

husband was driving last Saturday when we were looking at cars. I told him he had to do the "wave thing" when he passed a Wrangler. After a couple he had the hang of it. Then we passed one and the guy didn't wave. He started laughing and said, "that guy must not get to drive his wife's Wrangler much either because he didn't wave at me!"

LOL

Yep, must have been a borrower. They sure are fun to drive, was one of my first vehicles I owned, used to have a lot of fun driving off-road on a little island near Ocean City, Maryland.

This thread begs the question: do the "women" of ACF use a funnel to get that much sand in their vagina or do they just slide around the beach like an angry Roomba? -deadcactus-

Mangler had an accident on the way home from the liquor store. He was run off the road and crashed into a woman's clinic. It was one giant Pabst smear.
